Feb. 6–8. Quinn Strassel directs Pioneer students in Shakespeare’s masterful tragedy about the tormented Prince of Denmark, whose quest to avenge his father’s murder leads to the deaths of almost everyone close to him. The production sets the action in the present day, adds a student-written hip-hop number to the famous “play within a play,” and the title role is played by 5 actors of very different backgrounds who weave in and out of scenes throughout the show.
