ANN ARBOR, MI — University of Michigan football running back Blake Corum and defensive end Michael Morris joined the field of judges at this year’s Pioneer High School FutureStars talent show.

The school’s Theatre Guild dazzled the audience with power ballads and pop performances at the annual event on Saturday, Feb. 27, at the Power Center for the Performing Arts.

Contestants performed a range of songs from Aretha Franklin’s “Think” to Paramore’s pop-punk classic “Misery Business” to Adele’s newest single, “Easy on Me.”

After all 24 acts performed, Charlie Duke, Helena Kremer, Siri Gaiana, Cali Hill and Zoe Resendez were picked as finalists. Duke won first place, charming both the judges and audience members with his cover of Josh Turner’s “Your Man.”

Kid Jay, a local rapper and a former American’s Got Talent constant, also was among the guest judges.
